Mom was born August 9, 1918 in St. Boniface, MB. She married her wonderful husband Wilf on November 13, 1948. They settled in East Kildonan where they raised their family and enjoyed bowling, golfing, curling and Bomber games. Mom and Dad loved their cabin at Winnipeg Beach and their home in Mesa, Arizona.
After Wilf’s passing, Mom moved to Selkirk, MB where she enjoyed her time and friends at Kiwanis on the Red. Mom was a passionate knitter and donated many of her items to help those in need. Her family also enjoyed many of her lovingly crafted items. She volunteered at the Selkirk General Hospital and supported many other charities.
Family was very important to her and she enjoyed many get togethers at Karl and Jan’s house in Lockport.
Our sincere thanks to the staff at Selkirk General Hospital, paramedics and Dr. H. Demsas for the wonderful care you provided Mom. A special thank you to a fellow Kiwanis residents Deana and Vickie.
We will miss you “Nanny”
