Stanley (Sonny) Raymond Gauthier

Passed away peacefully on July 19, 2021 at the age of 90. Born on May 1, 1931 (some debate on year) in Pembroke, ON of loving parents Joseph and Mary (nee Chamberlain) Gauthier. Predeceased by his beloved wife Pauline Gauthier of 63 years. Stan (Sonny) the fun loving and devoted father of the late Rick and Eva McWilliams; the late Val (Bill) Lucier; David Gauthier; Marsha and (late Marv) Chomyshyn and Ted Gauthier. Dear brother to Cliffy (Rachel) Gauthier and predeceased by 3 sisters and 3 brothers. Proud grandfather of 14 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren. Stanley was known for his infectious laughter, green thumb and guitar playing. He retired from Chryslers in 1995. He served with the Royal Canadian Regiment in Canada, USA, Japan, and Korea. A member of the Royal Canadian Legion Br #594 who we would like to thank for their support. At his request there is no visitation. Cremation has taken place. A Graveside Service for family and friends will be held at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens on Thursday, July 22, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Legion Poppy Fund.
