Devoted husband of Tamone for 22 years. With Tamone he raised 5 children: Helena, Maria, Emanuel, Mane, and Keya. Also loving father of Esther, Amosi, and Dobesa. Proud grandfather of 10. Predeceased by his parents Amosi Rusakana and Elena Kyala. Also predeceased by 3 siblings. Survived by 2 siblings. He will also be missed by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Lumumba came to Canada with his wife and children in 2016 as refugees from the Tanzania where they were living after leaving the Congo. Before coming to Canada, he was a successful businessman. After arriving here, he was devoted to his faith and enjoyed spending his time in prayer. Lumumba’s children will remember the lesson he taught them; to love each other and to love God.
