Mr. John "Jack" William Pacey

October 17,1925-December 22, 2017,Jack passed away peacefully at the age of 92 years. Reunited with his beloved wife Frances (nee Martin 2014),with whom he would have celebrated 69 years of marriage. Cherished father of Penilou (James Payne) and Susan (James McAree). Grandfather to Colin McAree (Christie),Martin Payne (Kasia), Heather Lamar (Lee), Lee Payne, 7 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. Jack served in the Royal Canadian Navy during WWII. He worked for the S.W. and A as a bus driver before joining the Windsor Fire Department, retiring as District Chief after 35 years. He loved sports, enjoying baseball, hockey golf and bowling. He was a member of the Kingsville Golf and Curling club for 54 years and the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 188 for 35 years. E. 519-252-5711) on Thursday, December 28, 2017 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. At 3:30p.m. there will be a prayer service conducted by The Windsor Veterans Memorial Service Committee. The funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Friday December 29, 2017 at 11 a.m. Interment to follow at Victoria Memorial Gardens. Donations in memory of Jack may be made to the Fire Fighters Association.
