Gordon Woodall

94 years Passed away April 4, 2012 at Hotel Dieu – Grace Hospital. Beloved husband of Isobel. Dear father of John (Miriam), Windsor; Cathy Savage (Eric Nelson), Victoria, B.C.; and the late Kenneth Woodall(1998)(Ann), Oakville. Dear grandfather of Michelle(Edward) Lank, Cambridge; Stephen(Nicole) Woodall, in Australia; Robert (Michelle) Woodall, Victoria, B.C.; Jennifer Woodall, Toronto; Arthur(Claire) Savage, Vancouver, B.C.; Julia Savage, Victoria , B.C.; Richard Savage , Vancouver, B.C. Dear great grandfather of Olivia, Charlotte, Evan and Madeleine. Dear brother of the late Fred (Madelon), Leslie (Maudie), Hilda and twin sister Margaret Day. Dear brother in law of Stan Day, Dorothy Brick (Frank, deceased) and Grace Lancaster (Eric, deceased). Dear cousin of Betty Iler (Earl) and the late Norma Woodall. Mr. Woodall was a graduate of U of T in Engineering(1941). Gordon was part of Woodall Construction which was started by his father and uncle and is now celebrating its 90TH year serving the community of Windsor. He was a long time member of Southport Sailing Club, Windsor Curling Club and a member of the Kiwanis Club for over 40 years. He enjoyed travel to many parts of the world and spent quality time at his cottage in Muskoka. A memorial service will be held at St. Mary’s Anglican Church (St. Mary’s Gate, Walkerville) Saturday, April 14, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. with family receiving friends after 10:00 a.m. Canon Jane Humphreys officiating. Interment to follow in St. Mary’s Anglican Churchyard. In kindness memorial tributes to St. Mary’s Anglican Church or St. Mary’s Food Cupboard would be greatly appreciated.
