Predeceased by his loving wife Ingrid (2015). Also predeceased by his parents, Grant and Evelyn Peifer. Beloved brother of Kevin and wife Maureen, Lane and Dena. He will also be missed by aunts and uncle, and numerous cousins. Best friend of Rick Andrews for 60 years. Cherished Daddy of Myah and kitties, Callie and Smokey.
Brett had a lifelong passion for music. He played trumpet with over 20 musical groups during a span of over 60 years. Brett was a lifelong member of Trinity Lutheran Church where he played in the church band for 54 years. He taught for the Essex County Board of Education, primarily at Sandwich West Public School. Brett truly enjoyed Latin dancing and became fluent in Spanish. He and Ingrid were avid travelers.
