Arthur William Niels Malmberg

93 years. Passed away on December 8, 2014. Born in Newcastle, NB to Aage & Lucy. Dear brother of Harvey & Elizabeth and Godfrey (1945). Proudly served in WWII. Beloved husband to his childhood sweetheart, Amber (2000). Dear father of Susan & John Theisen, William & Barbara Malmberg, and Judy & Larry Buttress. Devoted Gramps to Chris & Natalie, Jon & Adriana, Mike & Heather, Angela and Rachel Buttress. Loving Papa to Morgan, Madeline, Megan, Nathan, Brooke, and Julia. He will also be remembered by his nieces, nephews, and many friends. Art was a gentleman and role model. He loved animals, especially the family pets. He was a Civil Engineer and an active volunteer who enjoyed curling, golf, music, and current events. Special thanks to the staff at Lifetimes on Riverside for 10 years of support, Revera, Bayshore and CCAC. Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held at the Walter D. Kelly Life Celebration Centre on Tuesday, December 9, 2014 from 7 pm until 9 pm. The Windsor Veterans Memorial Service Committee will be conducting a service at 7:30 pm. A memorial service will take place at the funeral home on Wednesday, December 10, 2014 at 11:30 am. In kindness, Art requested donations to be made to Windsor Goodfellows or to the Salvation Army.
