Wilma P. Bradford, 89, passed away Sunday, September 27, 2020 at her residence surrounded by her loving family. She was born June 5, 1931 in Commerce, GA, a daughter of the late Boyd A. and Mary Wilson Porter.
She was also predeceased by her husbands, Verner Wheeler and J. E. Bradford; daughter, Susan E. Wheeler and siblings, Geneva P. Harwell and Gene Porter.
Wilma taught Sunday School for many years. She enjoyed cooking, making candy, sewing, playing Bingo and traveling.
Mrs. Bradford is survived by her children, Verner B. “Sam” Wheeler (Charlotte) of GA and Laura W. Farmer (Dennis) of Conway; five grandchildren, Chip Wheeler (Sarah), Chris Wheeler (Jenni), Katie Landress (Chris), Mary Anne Tillman (Brad) and Brandt Farmer (Megan); eight great grandchildren and many other family and friends who will miss her.
A graveside service to honor and celebrate the life of Wilma Bradford will be held on Sunday, October 4, 2020 at 3:00 p.m. at Gray Hill Cemetery in Commerce, GA. Her grandson, Rev. Chip Wheeler will officiate.
