William H. “Bill” Nichols, II of The Woodlands, Texas passed away on January 25, 2024, at the age of 75. Bill was born in Montgomery, Alabama, the son of Melvin E. Nichols and Margaret Nichols (both deceased).
In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by his brother, M. E. “Spike” Nichols. Bill is survived by his daughter, Mary Ann Parker (+Derek) and grandson Weston Parker of Conyers, GA; sister Sally Nichols Shuford (+Rick) of Spartanburg, SC; plus several nephews and nieces and great nephews and great nieces.
Bill was an avid golfer and enjoyed walking his dogs, snow skiing, tennis, and fly fishing.
Bill graduated from Augusta College (now Augusta State University). He began his career with the Kroger Company working his way up to retire from the Real Estate Division, responsible for real estate development in Georgia, North Carolina, Virginia, and Texas.
A Celebration of Life will be planned at a later date.
