William Ellis Howard, age 76, died Wednesday May 6, 2015. Mr. Howard was the son of the late James C. and Elouise Holland Howard and was the Owner and Operator of Howards Carpet. Mr. Howard was preceded in death by son; William Scott Howard; brother; Leonard Howard.
Funeral services will be held Sunday May 10, 2015 at 4:00 pm in the chapel of Smith Memory Chapel. Burial will be at Barrow Memorial Gardens. Rev. Terry Tippens will officiate.
Survivors include wife; Nell McDonald Howard; daughters; Wanda Long and Cindy Stephens; brother; Thomas Howard; 4 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 6-9pm Saturday at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Dickie Cole, Gary Whitlock, Dick Mitchell, Kerry Lipscomb, Doug Harwell, and Tom Morton.
Smith Memory Chapel, Winder, has charge of arrangements.
