Tiera Turnbull Davis

Tiera Davis, 92 of Winder, passed away Monday, October 21, 2024. She was a lifetime resident of Barrow County and a faithful charter member of Freedom Fellowship Church in Statham. Tiera was a proud homemaker that set the example of a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was known for her sweetness, Christ like ability to love everyone and never meeting a stranger.

Tiera was preceded in death by her loving husband of 63 years, Thomas Davis; her parents, William and Gertrude Massey Turnbull; her son, Tom Davis Jr; a grandchild, Thomas Davis III; A daughter-in-law, Connie Stinchcomb Davis and a brother, Ralph Turnbull. She is survived by five sons, Reed Davis (Regina Crow) of Colbert, Ned Davis (Debbie) of Statham, Barry Davis (Kathy) of Statham, Roger Davis (DeeDee) of Statham and Kim Davis of Winder; three daughters, Cherry Bishop (Kenny) of Statham, Chryl Knight (Terry Wiginton) of Statham and Cindy Quick (Sonny) of Statham; 22 Grandchildren; 49 Great Grandchildren; and 15 Great-Great Grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 6PM until 8PM Thursday, October 24, 2024 at Smith Funeral Home, Winder, GA. Funeral Services will be at 2PM Friday, October 25, 2024 in the chapel of Smith Funeral Home with Pastors, Ned Davis and John Evans officiating. Interment will follow in Barrow Memorial Gardens.
