Theresa Annette "Teri" Souder, age 64 of Winder, passed away on Saturday, December 30, 2023. She was born in Santa Ana, California to the late John and Nancy Pate. Teri moved to Kentucky in the early 1980s and there married her husband and had two daughters. The family moved to Georgia in 1990 and to Winder in 1995. Teri loved spending time at home with her husband, daughters, and grandkids.
Teri is survived by her husband of 43 years, Bobby; daughters, Jessica (Jason) McCoy and Heather (Christopher) McCoy both of Winder; four grandkids: Jacob Hueeschman, Jace McCoy, Taylor McCoy, and Izabella McCoy; and two sisters: Rudelle (Scott) Manley of Princeton, KY and Sandra (Norman) Harrison of Vancouver, WA.
A visitation for family and friends will be held on Sunday, January 7, 2024 from 2:00 pm until 4:00 pm at Smith Funeral Home, 755 Atlanta Hwy SE, Winder, GA. A Celebration of Life Service will follow at 4:00 pm in Smith Memory Chapel.
