Ralph Johnson

Ralph S. Johnson, age 82 of Hoschton, passed away Wednesday June 7, 2017. He was a member of Sharon Baptist Church and a former longtime member of Rehoboth Baptist Church. Ralph was a graduate of Tennessee Tech and retired as the owner of Contract Division INC. He was preceded in death by his parents, Sidney and Era Johnson; his loving wife, Frances Willard Johnson; two sons, Russell Willard and Lewis Willard and a sister Rachel Hamvy. Ralph is survived by four sisters, Helen Church of Columbia TN, Carol Gibbing of Houston, TX, Pat Pogue of Plant City, FL and Sandra Johnson of Needleham, TX; seven grandchildren, David Willard (Joan) of Bethlehem, Troy Willard (Brandi) of Loganville, Nicole Fast (Carlos) of Abaline, TX, Gabriel Willard (Daniell) of Mobile, AL, Tony Willard of Lawrenceville, Tim Willard of Arizona and Kelly Willard of Roanoke,VA; 6 great-grandchildren, Josh Willard (Taylor), Jonah Willard, Christa Willard, Mikayla Willard, Mackenzie Willard, Macy Fast and Taylor Fast and a nephew, Phillip Hamvy. Visitation will be held from 6 until 8 PM Friday, June 9, 2017 at Smith Funeral Home, Winder, GA. Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM Saturday, June 10, 2017 at Sharon Baptist Church with Rev. Le Gibson officiating. Interment will follow in Peachtree Memorial Park. Donations may be made to Sharon Baptist Church or The Alzheimer’s Association.
