Phyllis Lorraine Mobley, age 74, of Winder, Georgia passed away on Saturday, March 22, 2025. Phyllis was born in Atlanta to the late Leroy Alvin and Peggy Elizabeth Lummus Wilson. She was of the Baptist faith. Phyllis was a CNA at the hospital in Winder for thirteen years. She loved to laugh, she was an amazing cook, and she loved to just get out and ride around.
In addition to her parents, Phyllis was preceded in death by her husband of 33 years, Richard Edward Mobley. She is survived by her daughters, Bonnie (Charlie) Brown and Sonya Stephens both of Winder; step-daughter, Tonya Mobley of Monroe; sisters, Cheryl (Bob) Harris of Douglasville and Sandra Wilson Brown of Conyers; and brother, Kenny (Barbara) Wilson of Covington. Phyllis is also survived by seven grandchildren: Richard (Trina) Brown, Steven (Tori) Brown, Karen (Chuck) Albright, Blake Stovall, Jacob Stovall, Roy Stovall, and Brianne Sturkie; and nine great-grandchildren: Faith Brown, Nolan Brown, Maddux Brown, Charlie Albright, Thor Albright, Stevee Brown, Gunner Brown, Karson Brown, and Natalie Brown.
A visitation for family and friends will be held on Sunday, March 30, 2025 from noon until 2:00 pm at Smith Funeral Home, Winder. A Memorial Service will follow at 2:00 pm in Smith Memory Chapel.
