Patti fought a courageous fight against cancer and will always be remembered for the strength she had within as well as the kindness she imparted to others. She was a loving wife, mother , grandmother and sister. She was a compassionate animal lover , an avid gardener and an amazing cook.
Patti is preceded in death by her husband, Patrick Trotter, and parents; John Nevling and Etta Masters Nevling.
Patti is survived by her sons; Jay (Dawn) Carr of Suwanee and Phil Carr of Bethlehem; daughter, Lani (Gabriel) Fuentes of San Antonio, TX; brother, John Nevling of Greensburg, PA; sister, Dona Fiedler of Outer Banks, NC; eight grandchildren, Morgan (Josh) Throop, Alex Carr, Lucy Miller, Jay Thrasher, Aubrey Carr, Kaden Vesik, Shayne Vesik, and Cristinalia Fuentes; and a soon to be great-grandchild.
A Memorial Mass honoring the life of Patti Trotter will be held on Friday, December 6, 2019 at 4:30 PM at St. Matthews Catholic Church. The family will be receiving friends on Friday from 3:30 PM until 4:30 PM prior to the mass at St. Matthews Catholic Church.
The family has respectfully requested that in lieu of flowers, donations be made in memory of Patti to the Humane Society of Northeast Georgia or to happyfeat.org which is a non-profit organization that supports young adults who have special needs.
Smith Funeral Home, Winder, is entrusted with the arrangements for Patti Trotter.
