Nicola Gleaton

Nicola had a successful career as a master technician with Mazda for 31 years with 19 years being at Mall of Georgia Mazda, and was known for his steadfast faith, integrity, respect and grace.

In 2015, he was awarded Regional Finalist at the Mazda Technician Competition and in 2018, he was awarded National Finalist at the MazTech Mazda Service Skills Competition.

In his free time, he enjoyed traveling with his family, enjoyed hunting, fishing and UGA football.

He is survived by his wife of 15 years, Lisa Gleaton, and his children: Savannah, 13 years old and Aiden, 12 years old, both from Winder, Georgia. He is also survived by his mother, Pamela Lipscomb, father, Tommy Gleaton as well as and his brother, Chad Gleaton, and brother and sister-in-law Jesse and Rachel Trotter. He is also survived by his niece and nephew, Lily and Asher Gleaton.

A visitation for Nicola will be held Thursday, October 24, 2024 from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM at Smith Memory Chapel, 755 Atlanta Hwy SE, Winder, Georgia 30680. A visitation will occur Friday, October 25, 2024 from 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM, 755 Atlanta Hwy SE, Winder, Georgia 30680. A a celebration of life will occur Friday, October 25, 2024 at 4:00 PM, 755 Atlanta Hwy SE, Winder, Georgia 30680.
