Nancy G Prater, age 77, of Winder, GA passed away on Monday, January 29, 2024. Nancy was born in Greensboro, NC to the late Lydia and Enoch Gray. She was a member of Bear Creek First Baptist Church. Nancy loved shopping and cooking and talking with friends and family on the phone.
In addition to her parents, Nancy was predeceased by her husband of fifty years, John Millard Prater; and siblings: Douglas Gray, Joe Gray, and Jane Malloy. She is survived by her children: Tamatha Davis of Carrollton, Kathie (Charles) Rash of Winder, and Sherry (Tony) Atwood of Winder; grandchildren: Stacy Reed and Destiny Rash; and great grandchildren: Isaiah Reed, Khloe Reed, John Dunwoodie, and Brooklynn Dunwoodie.
The Memorial Service for Nancy Prater will be held on Saturday, February 10 at 2:00 pm in Smith Memory Chapel. A visitation for family and friends will be from 1:00 pm until service time at Smith Funeral Home.
