She was born March 6, 1941, the daughter of Harley Oliver Glaze and Johnnie Green Glaze of Tarrant, AL. She grew up in Tarrant, graduated in 1958 from Tarrant City High School, and married Jackie shortly after that in July of 1958. She had a productive and successful career as a hard working accountant for a few different companies over the next 40+ years and was a dedicated provider for her family. But that was just her day job. Her true passion was in-depth study of the Bible and teaching it to others of all ages, from the youngest to the oldest person, something she thrived on doing for most of her adult life. Her family and friends will lovingly remember her for being a fun combination of sweet and caring as well as feisty and tough!
She is survived by her husband of 60+ years, Jackie Donlaw Palmer, Sr.; son, Jackie Donlaw Palmer, Jr. and daughter-in-law, Leanne Hill Palmer of Atlanta, GA; son, Trent Oliver Palmer and daughter-in-law, Mary Smith Palmer of Loganville, GA; daughter, Trinka Elizabeth Myers and son-in-law Mark Randall Myers, Sr. of Lawrenceville, GA; grandchildren, Emma Palmer McVey, Ian Palmer, Samantha Palmer, Melinda Palmer, Rebecca Adebayo, Mallory Myers, Georgia Myers, Marissa Myers, Chloe Myers, Mark Myers, Annie Myers, Autumn Myers, Scott Palmer and Brett Palmer; great-grandchildren Kayden Palmer, Mack Palmer, Jet Palmer, Yancey Bolton, and Hudson Abou-Sraje; and sisters Lauretta Clifford and Jackie Pruitt.
