Michael Kennan Ramsey

Michael Kennan Ramsey, age 65, of Winder, GA passed away on Sunday, July 31, 2022. Michael was born in Ohio, lived most of his life in Louisiana, and graduated from Lake Charles High School. He was of the Christian faith. He worked as a Millwright and was a member of the Millwright Local Union #1263 of Kennesaw, GA. When not working, Michael enjoyed hunting and poker.

Michael was predeceased by his father, Edgar Ramsey; son, Joshua Ramsey; granddaughter, Savannah Nelson; and brother, Randy Ramsey. He is survived by his mother, Wilma Kaye Hinshaw of Milledgeville, GA; wife, Janelle Blanchette Ramsey of Winder, GA; daughter, Michelle Baxter of Sugar Hill, GA; brother, Jason Ramsey of Lake Charles, LA; sisters: Kim Horner of Milledgeville, GA and Tonya Self of Grayson, GA; and four grandchildren: Evangeline, Cadence, Teagan and Merritt.

A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, August 7, 2022, at 2:00 pm at the Winder Lions Club, 354 East Broad Street in Winder.
