Mark Andrew Still

Long-time and beloved business owner and accountant Mark Andrew Still, age 59, passed away on April 4, 2023. Raised in the Harbins Community of Dacula, Georgia, Mark was the son of the late Hugh and Elizabeth Still.

Mark Still loved the Winder-Barrow community. He actively served the community in various ways, to include: 12 years of service on the Barrow County Board of Education, longtime member of the Rotary Club, multiple years of service to the Winder Housing Authority and Barrow County Chamber of Commerce, and was on the Barrow County Tax Assessors Board. Mark was an active member of Winder First United Methodist Church where he regularly attended and volunteered his time and talents in various ways. He also volunteered with the Boy Scouts of America for many years.

Always quick to offer assistance, Mark would help anyone with anything - making sure to offer up his quick wit along the way. His dry sense of humor was equally matched by his big, loving heart.

Mark is survived by his loving wife of 33 years, Donna Still. The two have called Winder their home for more than 35 years and became deeply rooted in this community. Mark and Donna raised two sons, Blake Still and Andrew Still (Mallory). Mark was the grandfather to Ava Audrey Still and the Father in law to Jessi Johnson. Mark was very proud of his family and loved them all dearly. Mark is also survived by his older brothers, Dennis (Elaine) and Bruce (Joy) Still.

Memorial services will be held Tuesday April 11, 2023 at 11:00 am in the Smith Memory Chapel. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 pm at the funeral home on Monday April 10, 2023.
