Louise O. Conway, age 94, of Braselton, GA entered into the presence of her Lord and Savior on Friday, February 2, 2024. She was born in Enville, TN to the late Mary Lela and James Franklin Carroll. She loved attending her church, Christ Place Church. Louise was a hairdresser. She loved sewing, quilting, gardening, and traveling. She loved family and especially being "Nana" to her grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Louise was predeceased by her husband of 66 years, Wayne E. Conway; brothers: James F. Carroll, Jr. and Roy L. Carroll; and sisters: Wanda Faye Strycker and Sue Swihart. Louise is survived by her children: Ronald (Valrie) Conway of Benbrook, TX, Janice (Lindell) Hunsley of Statham, and Beverly (Dan) Shaw of Braselton; sisters: Thresia "Top" Young and Paulette (Jim) Kuzmanovich both of Ocala, FL; seven grandchildren: Adrienne Reeves, Melissa Hall, Matthew E. Shaw, Jeremy Hunsley, Kelly Jenkins, Jared Conway and Jennifer Hellums; and eight great-grandchildren: Beckham Reeves, Lucy Reeves, Griffin Reeves, Berklee Shaw, Brady Shaw, Asher Hall, Zephaniah Hall and Avital Hall.
The Funeral Service for Louise Conway will be held at The Venue Building at Christ Place Church on Tuesday, February 13 at 11:00 am. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service. Pastors Dave Chanell and Lindell Hunsley will officiate. Louise will be buried next to her husband at the Georgia National Cemetery in Canton.
