Joyce B. Johnson

Joyce B. Johnson, 66, of Statham, passed away on July 30th, 2012. Joyce worked as the housekeeping supervisor for the Days Inn in Suwannee, GA. She was of the Baptist faith. She is preceded in death by her husband, Joe D. Johnson; her parents, Glen and Willie Brumbelow; and her brother, Dean Corbin. Survivors include daughters Jackie Knight of Statham, GA and Jeannie Alasadi of Augusta, GA; sisters Doris Scott of Alpharetta, GA, Joan Clanton of Canton, GA, Mary Jennings of Winder, GA, Deborah Duncan of Auburn, GA, and Evelyn Moore of Statham, GA; seven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-9 PM on both Wednesday, August 1, 2012 and Thursday, August 2, 2012 at Smith Funeral Home, Winder, GA. A funeral service will be held in the chapel of Smith Funeral Home on August 3, 2012 at 2:00 PM with Mrs. Elaine Corbin, Mrs. Debra Williams, and Reverend Steve Carol officiating. The interment will be at Barrow Memorial Gardens.
