Joyce Moon Grizzle

Joyce Moon Grizzle, age 95, of Winder, Georgia passed away on Sunday, November 10, 2024. Joyce was born on July 23, 1929 to the late Willie T. and Lucille Moon. She was a homemaker who loved her family and her church, Union Baptist Church. She enjoyed doing crossword puzzles.

In addition to her parents, Joyce was preceded in death by her husband Clifford Walker Grizzle; her son, Michael Grizzle; brother, Sam William Moon; and sister, Willie Rose Moon Hendrix. Joyce is survived by her sons: Mitch (Beatrice) Grizzle and Richard (Sheila) Grizzle; sisters: Gloria (Rufus Owens) Wall and Martha (Bill) Whiting; grandchildren: Michelle Grizzle, Kimberly Miller, Russell (Sheena) Grizzle, and Mitchell Grizzle; and great-grandchildren: Michaila Holman, Christian Holman, Addison Grizzle, Easton Grizzle, and Brynlee Miller.

A Visitation for family and friends will be held Tuesday, November 12, 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Smith Funeral Home, 755 Atlanta Hwy SE, Winder, Georgia. The Funeral Service will be Wednesday, November 13, 2024 at 2:00 PM in Smith Memory Chapel with the burial to follow at the Satham City Cemetery.
