Joseph Thomas Richardson Jr., age 81, of Winder, Georgia passed away on Wednesday, May 15, 2024. He was born to the late Earnee and Joseph Richardson, Sr. on July 26, 1942 in Atlanta, Georgia. Joseph attended Bethlehem Church. He enjoyed playing golf, working in the church, gardening especially flowers, and cheering on the Atlanta Braves and Georgia Bulldogs.
He is survived by his loving wife Peggy Richardson; Daughters: Beth (Gary) Sharpton, Kelli (Johnathan) Smith, Bunnie Hyde, Tina (Jody) Pollock, and Tammy McWhorter; brother, Zed (Cindy) Richardson; sister, Ann Moreland; twelve grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren and one on the way.
In lieu of flowers the family ask you to consider making a donation to the Cancer Society.
Celebration of Life will be held in Smith Memory Chapel on Saturday, May 18, 2024 at 3:00PM. The family will receive friends an hour prior to the service.
