Hoyt Roberts

Hoyt Roberts 81 of Bethlehem, passed away Saturday February 19, 2022. He was of the Baptist faith. Hoyt loved to work and retired from Harrison Poultry after 45 years of service. He loved hunting, fishing, and especially his grandchildren.

Hoyt was preceded in death by his parents, Hubert and Cassie Gerry Roberts and six brothers and sisters. He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Willie Mae Nix Roberts of Bethlehem; a son, Danny Roberts (Lisa) of Winder; a daughter, Patty Almond (Andy) of Winder; a brother, Pete Roberts (Denise) of Helen; two sisters: Hazel Chambers of Winder and Girlie Bowles of Bethlehem; 9 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, February 22, 2022 from 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm at Smith Funeral Home, Winder, GA. Funeral services will be at 2:00 pm Wednesday, February 23, 2022 in the chapel of Smith Funeral Home with Pastor Mike Peavey officiating. Interment will follow in Barrow Memorial Gardens.
