Harold Bell Roberts Jr.

Harold Bell Roberts Jr., age 79 of Winder, passed away on Thursday, December 22, 2022. Harold was born on May 22, 1943 in Wilkes-Barre Pennsylvania to the late Harold Bell Roberts Sr. and Emily Major. Harold was a US Army veteran serving in Vietnam and retired as a maintenance supervisor for Falcon Safety Products . Harold was a member of The Statham American Legion, Post 163, he had a passion for baking and Vietnam War history. He loved his family dearly as well as baking for everyone, especially his friends in the American Legion.

Along with Harold’s parents, he is preceded in death by his wife Carole Ann Roberts and brother Don Whitenight. Harold is survived by his three sons Thomas Roberts, wife Roseann, of Piscataway New Jersey, Hal Roberts, wife Barbara, of New Providence New Jersey, and Carl Roberts , wife Nicole, of Hillsborough New Jersey, sister Jean Parish , husband Grant, four grandchildren Victoria, Thomas, Emma, and Taylor, and two great grandchildren, Adriana and Olivia.

The visitation for Mr. Roberts Jr. will be held Wednesday, December 28, 2022 from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Smith Funeral Home, Winder, Georgia.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, December 29, 2022 at 11:00 am in the chapel of Smith Funeral home with Rev. John Burchfield officiating. Interment will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery.
