Dorothy Sue Parker

Dorothy Sue Parker, 58 of Winder, passed away Tuesday February 15, 2022. She was of the Christian Faith. Sue was a loving homemaker who cherished her family, especially her grandchildren. She also loved crocheting, plants and music, especially Prince.

Sue was preceded in death by her father, William Black. She is survived by her loving husband of 40 years, Auzzie Gene Parker of Winder; her mother, Dottie Parker of Auburn; a son, Gene Parker (Michele) of Winder; a daughter, Amanda Parker of Winder; a brother, Bill Black (Angie) of Dallas; two sisters, Mary Pugh (Ed) of Winder and Mechele Stewart (Will) of Auburn and 10 grandchildren: Bri, DJ, Layney, Maddy, Marley, Kaige, Leland, Kylie, Natasha and Hunter.

A celebration of Sue’s life will be held at 2PM Saturday, February 19, 2022 in the chapel of Smith Funeral Home, Winder, GA with Pastor Aaron Calvert officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12pm until service time.
