Donald Mobley

Donald Mobley, Age 77, passed away on June 14, 2019. Mr. Mobley was the son of the late Drew T. and Essie Massey Mobley. He was also proceeded in death by his brothers Eugene Mobley, Bobby Mobley, J.W. Mobley and sister Rachel Mobley.

Funeral services will be held Monday, June 17, 2019 at 2:00 pm at Smith Memory chapel. Burial will follow at Bethabara Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11:00am until funeral time.

Survivors include his wife; Ann Ruark Mobley; sisters in law; Dorothy Mobley, Frances Ruark; Daughters; Teresa (Brian) Wages, Christy (Chae) Cherry; Granddaughters; Shea Wages, Kaci Wages, Caragan Cherry, Chesney Cherry, Cambry Cherry; Great Granddaughter; Kiera Corbett.

Donald Mobley or “Poppa” will be cherished as a loyal husband, father and friend. His special love for his family, being outside, and making sure all who entered ‘rested a while’ and had enough ‘snack money’ will never be forgotten.
