David Marshal Watson

David Marshal Watson, age 54, of Winder, GA, passed away Monday, June 24, 2013. During his life, he worked as Vice President and General Manager of CMC of Georgia Inc. He attended Bethlehem First Baptist Church. David loved to sing, golf, fish, and cook in his spare time. He was preceded in death by his father, Gerald Watson. Survivors include his wife, Merry Watson of Winder; his mother, Charlie Jo Watson of Winder; a son, Parker (Ashley) Watson of Bethlehem, GA; two daughters, Anna (John) Humble of Hoschton, GA and Emily Watson of Winder; two sisters, Marshia (Sammy) Hunter of Winder and Wendy (Bill) Parks of Dalton, GA; three grandchildren, Mitchell, Marshal, and Meredith Humble; a niece, Dana (Michael) House; and a nephew, Gabe (Laurie) Hunter. The family will receive friends from 6-8:00 pm Tuesday, June 25, 2013 at Smith Funeral Home, Winder. The funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm Wednesday, June 26, 2013 in the chapel of Smith Funeral Home with Reverend Mike Peavy officiating. The burial will follow the service at Carl Cemetery, Carl, GA.
