David Arthur Couture, age 95 of Winder, passed away, Tuesday, June 27, 2017. He was a member of Winder First Baptist Church. David was a veteran and served as a Navy pilot during WWII. He retired as a self-employed entrepreneur. He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Ruth Crebs Couture and two children, Steven and Susan Couture. David is survived by two sons, Lance Couture of Maine and Patrick Couture of Frisco, TX; three daughters, Frede Cormier of Hartford, CT, Cindy Couture of Duluth and Vickie Couture of Winder; a brother, Thomas Couture; 10 grandchildren and 11 Great-grandchildren. A funeral service will be held at 2PM Friday, June 30, 2017 at Winder First Baptist Church with Rev. Bobby Josey officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior at the church. Interment will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery.
