Daniel Canales

Daniel was an avid soccer player. He was affectionally known by his family as "Uncle D." Daniel will be best remembered by his family as a loving husband, father, son, and brother. He was certainly loved by all.

Daniel is survived by his wife, Karoline Matute; son, Michael Cubias; daughter, Haley Cubias; parents, Concepcion Canales and Maria Canales; brothers, Jesse and Rolando Canales; sisters, Daniela, Fanny, and Ashley Canales; and numerous nieces and nephews also survive.

The funeral service to honor and celebrate the life of Mr. Daniel Canales will be held 4:00 p.m. Saturday, August 8, 2020 in the chapel of Smith Funeral Home. Burial will follow the service at Barrow Memorial Gardens in Winder. The family will be receiving friends on Saturday from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.

The family respectfully request that in lieu of flowers, donations be made in memory of Daniel to the American Cancer Society.

El funeral para honrar y celebrar la vida del señor Daniel Canales se realizará a las 4:00 p.m. Sábado 8 de agosto de 2020 en la capilla de Smith Funeral Home 755 Atlanta Hwy SE, Winder, GA 30680 El entierro seguirá al servicio en Barrow Memorial Gardens en Winder. La familia estará recibiendo amigos el sábado a partir de las 2:00 pm horas. hasta las 4:00 p.m. antes del servicio en la funeraria.
