Charlie McLocklin age 89 died Wednesday June 15, 2016. Mr. McLocklin was the son of the late John N. and Mae Boyd McLocklin. Mr. McLocklin was a member of Statham Baptist Church and was a Army Veteran. Mr. McLocklin was retired from USDA.
Funeral services will be held Saturday June 18, 2016 at Smith Memory Chapel at 2:00pm. Burial will follow at the McLocklin Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5-9pm Friday at the funeral home.
Survivors include his wife of 67years Jean Foster McLocklin; children; Jerry (Susan) McLocklin of Statham, GA., Margie (Tommy) Sorrells of Winder, Ga., Judy (Richard) Carroll of Kennesaw, Ga.; brother; Bunt McLocklin; sister; Odanious Lackey; grandchildren; Tim Sorrells, Stephanie Sands, Charley Carroll, Mitch Carroll; Great Grandchildren; Grayson Sorrells, Emma Kate Sorrells, and Charlie Kate Carroll.
Smith Funeral Home, Winder, has charge of arrangements.
