Beverly Joyce Byram age 81 of Simpsonville, SC and Dacula, GA, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, January 10, 2021. Born in Carlsbad, NM, she grew up in Roswell, NM, graduating from Roswell HS, home of the Coyotes. She met her husband, Don, while he was stationed at Walker Air Force Base in Roswell. They married on August 15, 1959 and moved to Indiana, where they lived for 40 years. Beverly and Don were very active members of the Bright and Dearborn Hills United Methodist church. Beverly enjoyed bible studies, singing in the choir and doing mission work in Haiti. Beverly started as a Teacher’s Aide at Bright Elementary School during her children’s primary education years and then went to work at Indiana & Michigan Electric Company. She retired as a training supervisor for American Electric Power. Don and Beverly moved to Simpsonville, SC in 2000 to be close to their grandkids. She cherished the many lifelong friends she made over the years in both Indiana and South Carolina. Beverly was a member of Taylors First Baptist Church in Taylors, SC. She was preceded in death by her parents, Weyma and Ina Joyce Ford; her husband of 56 years, Donald Wayne Byram; two sisters, Pat Salsman and Judy Ford and a grandson, Ryan Allen Henderson (34). Beverly is survived by a son, David Byram (Kimberly) of Simpsonville, SC; a daughter, Lisa Henderson (Rodney) of Dacula, GA; four grandchildren, Nicole Griffin (Kenny), Kristin Kennedy (Robbie), Katie Beth Byram, Jonathan Byram (Taylor), and a granddaughter-in-law, Brittany Henderson; six great-grandchildren, Bailee, Lanier, Bennett, Olivia, Bristol and Park Ryan. No services are scheduled at this time due to the COVID situation.
