Angela D. Farr

Angela D. Farr, 58 of Bishop, passed away Saturday, December 30, 2023. She was a native of Vallejo, CA. Angela worshiped at Church 316 in Watkinsville. She was a Godly woman, wife, mother and friend who enjoyed her time with Jesus doing her devotionals and reading her Bible. Angela also had a deep love for animals and the family would like, in lieu of flowers, that donations be made in her name to the Athens Area Humane Society. She had a work career that included being a dental hygienist, a cosmetologist, police officer, dispatcher, code enforcement officer and probation officer for the City of Winder, and a communication officer for Walton County 911. Currently she was working for the City of Watkinsville as their administrative coordinator.

Angela was preceded in death by her father, John D. Harrison and her sister, Tracy Harrison. She is survived by her loving husband of 27 years, Frank Farr of Bishop; her daughter, Jordan Farr of Athens; and her mother, Kaye Rupp Harrison of Bishop.

Visitation will be held from 6PM until 9PM Wednesday, January 3, 2024 at Smith Funeral Home, Winder, GA. Funeral services will be held at 11AM Thursday, January 4, 2024 in the chapel of Smith Funeral Home with Pastor Tony Cowan officiating. Interment will follow in Carl Cemetery.

In addition to Athens Area Humane Society, donations may also be made to Church 316 and ACTS (Area Churches together Serving).
