William Walter “Billy” Hart Sr., 70, of Elm City, passed away Friday, August 1, 2014. He was the beloved husband of Patricia “Patsy” Proctor Hart. He is also survived by his daughter, Amelia Hart Rhodes and her husband Tracy Rhodes of Goldsboro; his son, William Walter “Bill” Hart Jr. and his wife Margaret W. Hart of Elm City; his mother, Huldah P. Hart of Elm City; his brother, James Hart and his wife Sue Hart of Elm City; his sister, Linda Moore and her husband Fred Moore of Elm City; 10 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father, William Wesley “Bill” Hart, his sister Barbara Jane Pridgen, a nephew and 2 brothers-in-law. Graveside funeral services will be held Monday (TODAY) at 11 a.m. in Evergreen Memorial Park, 2704 Nash St. North, Wilson. In lieu of flowers, gifts in his memory may be sent to any animal refuge. Arrangements are under the direction of Thomas~Yelverton at Evergreen 2704 Nash St. North, Wilson NC.
