Thomas "Tommy" Lyons

Thomas “Tommy” Lyons, age 80, passed away Wednesday, March 26, 2025 . He was born January 4, 1945 in Hazelton, PA to the late Paul T. Lyons and Mary Camadeca Lyons. He was preceded in death by his wife Pearl Hawley Lyons and a brother Paul “Paulie” Lyons, Jr.

Tommy was a U.S. Marine Corps Veteran after serving eight years, he worked for Hackney Body Co. for 30 years and was a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church. He loved the Lord, family and friends, spending time with them and cooking. He loved his two dog companions, Tyson and Katie. Loved to work on cars and loved to fish.

Left to cherish his memory is his son, Tony Lyons and his wife Lisa of Willow Spring, two brothers, Joseph Lyons and his wife Sandy of Weyers Cave, VA and Dominic Lyons and his wife Julie of Hazelton, PA, his sister-in-law Ruth Boykin and her husband Hackney of Wilson, several nieces and a nephew.

A graveside service with Military Honors will be held Tuesday, April 8, 2025 at 11 AM in Evergreen Memorial Park with the Rev. Ken Cobb officiating. The family will receive friends following the service.
