Rhonda Lucas Harrington

Rhonda Lucas Harrington, 44, passed away Monday at her home. Rhonda was born in Wilson, North Carolina to Phil and Susan Lucas. She was married to the love of her life, Jimmy Harrington of Charlotte and was a loving and devoted Mother to Hailey and Hannah Harrington who were her heart and soul and her dog, Dixie. Rhonda was a Substitute Teacher at Bess Brannen Elementary School in Lake Jackson, Texas. She was Secretary for the Girls Basketball Team Booster Club at Brazoswood High School in Clute, Texas.

A memorial service will be held at Chapelwood United Methodist Church in Lake Jackson, Texas on Thursday, December 22, 2016 at 11:00AM. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 9:30AM until 10:45AM.

A grave side service will be held to celebrate Rhonda’s life on Tuesday, December 27, 2016 at Evergreen Memorial Gardens in Wilson, North Carolina at 1:00PM. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.

Rhonda is survived by her husband, Jimmy Harrington, her twin daughters, Hailey and Hannah Harrington, her parents, Phil and Susan Lucas, her mother-in-law, Jane Harrington, father-in-law, Jim Harrington, brother’s-in-law, John Harrington, Mike Harrington, and Matt Harrington, sister-in-law, Heather Greyno, nieces and nephews, Amanda, Brooke, Nick, Luke, Ben, Basha, Kathryn, Sylvie, Riley and Pearl; Grandmother, Velma Bunn; Aunts, Sandra Lucas (Mike), Sherry Bunn, Betty Davis (Ricky) and Cousins; Bert Boswell (Kristen), Jeff Elliott (Christy), Zack Elliott, Michael Thorne and Matt Davis.
