M. Katherine Williams M. Katherine Williams, age 54 passed away on Thursday, April 14, 2016. She was preceded in death by mother, Brenda Moore Gay. She is survived by her sons, Charles Moore (Monica) of Spring Lake, Chase Williams of Wilson; daughter, Kaitlyn Williams of Fayetteville; father, Fred Gay of Wilson; grandchildren, Kailey, Aiyana, Laci and Madison; sisters, Wanda Dixon of Wilson, Nancy Patterson of N. Palm Beach FL. Visitation will be 6:00 – 8:00 PM Wednesday, April 20, 2016 at Thomas-Yelverton Funeral. Funeral service will be held 11:00 AM Thursday, April 21, 2016 at Thomas-Yelverton Funeral Home with burial following in Evergreen Memorial Park. Since our mother was the most selfless and loving person we’ve ever known after much deliberation, in lieu of flowers, we’ve decided to ask anyone that may be considering sending flowers to make a donation to Chase and Kaitlyn at www.gofundme.com/thebestmomever. Our sister Kaitlyn, 17 will graduate high school in just over a month then head off to college and our brother Chase, 20 is just starting a life as a young man.
