GEORGE'S great imagination and stories will be sadly missed 

George Warren had been an active member of Christus Victor Lutheran Church in Carney, MD, just to the north of Baltimore, since March 2016.  In the 15 months that I have known him as his Interim Pastor, he has:
Called regularly to stay in touch;
Represented our congregation as a voting member at the 2021 Delaware-Maryland Synod Assembly of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (he could do this since the Assembly was on Zoom.)
Always let us know when he was ill, and we have visited him in the hospital and at home;
Phoned in to attend some of our Sunday morning Adult Sunday School classes;
Has given regularly, especially these last months to our “Victor’s Vittles” ministry providing food for those in need.
Has been diligent in his use of Holy Communion.
I personally have appreciated our many conversations, showing the depth of his trust in Christ, and especially the seriousness with which he lived out his Christian faith.  You will be missed George!
