Ebbie Jean Harris, age 68, passed away Saturday, April 27, 2024 at Wilson Rehab and Nursing Home after a long and courageous battle with cancer. She was born June 30, 1955 to the late George Carlton Harris and Betty Jean Hayes Justice and was also predeceased by her brother Jerry Carlton Harris.
Ebbie Jean was very protective and loved being around her family and was very opinionated but with love. She enjoyed making jokes and will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Left to cherish her memory is her sister Melissa Justice of Wilson, her brother Stan Justice and his wife Latoya of Winterville, her niece McKenna Collier and her husband Phillip, her special grandnephew Jackson Collier and special family friend Bonnie Abushar.
Services will be private. Inurnment will be in Evergreen Memorial Gardens in Wilson.
