Wilson: Alice Faye Owens Webb, age 68, passed away June 11, 2023, at ECU Medical Center. Faye was the daughter of the late Dewey Lee Owens and Alice Moline Owens. She was preceded in death by her husband James Wesley “J.W.” Webb and her sister Mary “Ann” Owens Thigpen.
Faye loved her flowers and spending time outside. She loved spending time with her family, friends, and her church family.
Left to cherish her memory is her daughter Alice “Karen” Webb (Tony) of Wilson, her grandson Jonathan “Jon” Tyndall of Wilson, special nieces, nephews, and many “adopted” children and grandchildren, many “precious ones”, her best friend Mary Ellen Reason and her two canine companions, Patches and Sammy.
A Celebration of Life service will be held Friday, June 16, 2023, at 6 PM at Thomas-Yelverton Funeral Chapel with Pastor Dave Varnell officiating. The family will receive friends following the service. At other times the family will receive friends at 6450 Slabtown Rd. Wilson, NC. 27893.
