William Quaw Gordon

Son of William Ralph Gordon and Margery Quaw Gordon, William was born in Minneapolis, Minn. on February 28, 1928.

He is survived by his Son Keith Quaw Gordon, his Daughters, Ellen Renee Gordon, Kim Louis Leonard, son-in-law Paul Leonard and Granddaughter Rebecca Marie Junod.

He was pre-deceased in death by his Wife, Juanita, his Parents and infant Daughter Marie Eileen Gordon.

William graduated from State College High School where he lettered in Golf, Soccer and Basketball. Baseball was also a favorite summer sport.

After serving during the Korean War, William earned his B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Penn State and his MBA from Syracuse University.

William’s professional career began at Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company in Akron, Ohio where he worked as a development engineer. He moved onto Borg Warner Corporation as a Project Manager, worked at Morse Rubber Products as a General Manager and ended his career as a Plant Manager for BF Goodrich.

Upon retiring, William joined IESC, International Executive Service Corporation, and participated in many projects around the world.

William loved good music, good food, and most of all good times with his family.

A private service will be held in Akron, Ohio.
