In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother William D. Bridges, Jr and sister, Rachel S. Leary.
Vikie is survived by her husband, Dennis Wayne Rackley; her daughter, Kristin Rackley Bunner; her son, Timothy “Sean” Rackley (Lisa), and two grandsons, Joshua “Seth” Smith and Jaxon Alexander Rackley.
Vickie was a devoted wife and mother, who took great pride in her home and family.
Vickie’s family would like to express their sincere gratitude to the staff at Lower Cape Fear Hospice for their compassionate and vigilant care during her final days.
The family will hold a graveside service at 11:00 am on Friday September 22, 2023 at Greenlawn Memorial Park, 1311 Shipyard Blvd Wilmington, NC 28412.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Vickie’s name to Lower Cape Fear Hospice or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
