Victor Gerald Mueller

Victor Gerald Mueller, 53, of Jacksonville, N.C., passed away May 17, 2024. Born on September 11, 1970, in Washington, D.C., he was the son of the late Phillip R. Mueller and Mary Kay Flinn Mueller.

Victor previously lived in Maryland and New York before moving to North Carolina in 2019. He was a trained chef who was passionate about food and sharing his cooking skills with others. Victor enjoyed gardening and growing ingredients for his culinary creations. He was on a mission to perfect his pizza recipe, and visitors were often treated to pizza cooked in his backyard pizza oven.

Victor was a big fan of his hometown sports’ teams, particularly the Washington Capitals. He loved spending time at the beach, and he liked to read, watch movies, listen to music, and take photos. Victor could always make people laugh, and he made many friends throughout his life—including the four-legged kind.

Victor is survived by his brother Geoffrey Ray Mueller, his aunt Anupa Mueller, and his significant other Laura McMullen. He will be dearly missed by extended family and friends.

A celebration of Victor’s life will be held at a later date. Arrangements have been entrusted to Coble Funeral Home of Wilmington, N.C.
