I was lucky enough to work with Tom Morgan for 29 years and was able to see how compassionate, caring and understanding he was with his clients, friends and fellow attorneys.  His quick wit and forever smile brightened the day for many.   My husband Chuck and I were blessed to be able to spend time with Tom and Karen who were like family.  Their son, Austin, brightened their lives from the day he was born and blessed them with two grandchildren.   Tommy will be missed but never forgotten.

Great lawyer. Great guy. Always smiling. I had immense respect and admiration for Tommy.Talked about his son a lot. He was very proud of his son. 
 Don’t recall his son’s name. You should be very proud of you old man!   We could all learn alot from Tommy. Harold Pollock. Burgaw. 

Tommy was one of the nicest people I have ever known.  Anyone who ever spent at least 10 minutes with him came away feeling better for the experience.  He is also the bravest man I have ever known he took on all adversity life presented and dealt with it head-on.  He seemed to be always smiling.
He was a colleague as a fellow attorney  who was well respected and compassionate  I know I am blessed to have known him as my Friend
and I will miss our cheerful visits.
May the Peace of the Lord comfort his family and multitude of friends in our time of sorrow

I remember Tommy from High School. He made our lunches brighter with his wit and humor as a DJ for WILD radio. I wish I had stayed in touch with him in the years after high school . I am so saddened. I am equally happy he is at rest in Glory.  We all shall meet again.

Tommy and I were childhood friends and we traveled through school together from elementary to our high school years. He was a dear friend and a wonderful person.  Rest in peace my friend.

I went all the way through school with Tommy. He was a wonderful person and friend.

I am so sorry for your loss!  Tom was such a witty and kind man!  We will always remember kayaking with you all!  I have recently retired and we will be traveling in the next few weeks but hope we can have lunch in October!

Tom and I were buddies in the Cape Fear Civil War Round Table and other local history endeavors for many years. A native Wilmingtonian like me, Tom was all in for history that related to our hometown and the Lower Cape Fear. He was above all a man of honor, integrity, and compassion, a good man and a good friend. I'll see you again one day, Tom. I look forward to our next big adventure. 

We have so many memories with Karen and Tom, we could not begin to mention them. You have been our friend for almost forty years and they have gone by so quickly.  Our love to the Morgan family. You are forever in our prayers.

So very sorry for your loss...Tommy was such a nice guy...I knew him from school and the class of 68 reunions. Everybody liked Tommy.  We are going to miss him at the reunion this year. 

My thoughts and prayers are with Tommys family.  I call him Tommy because I have known him and his family for years.  I cannot say enough good things about him.  A wonderful, kind, intellegent person. Always a kind word and smile.

Reader's Digest has a column titled "The Most Unforgettable Character I Ever Met".   For me it was definitely my classmate Tommy Morgan.  He overcame challenging physical obstacles to develop numerous friendships, do well in school, obtain a law degree, marry and build a law practice.  I always remember Tommy with a friendly smile.  It is an understatement to say that he was an inspiration to me and to so many others.
