Sonya “Kay” Ellers Richardson slipped into glory Saturday, March 10, 2012 at her home in Rocky Point.
She is survived by her loving husband of 44 years, William “Bill” Richardson and her two children Jeff Richardson and Cheryl Richardson Fales; two grandsons, Christopher Nolan Wilder and William “Bradley” Wilder, one adopted granddaughter Kelsi Edmonds, and one brother Jerry Ellers.
The family will receive visitors Tuesday, March 13, 2012 from 6 to 8 PM at Coble Ward-Smith Funeral Service at 3915 Oleander Drive, Wilmington, NC. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 14, 2012 at 1:00 PM at Coble Ward-Smith, with Pastor Jim Hershenhan officiating. Interment will follow at Oleander Memorial Gardens.
In addition to flowers, memorial donations may be made to Rileys Creek Baptist Church in Rocky Point.
The staff of Coble Ward-Smith is honored to serve the family of Sonya Richarson.
