Ruth Worrell Lehrschall, 88, of Seminary, Mississippi passed away on April 7, 2024. She was born in Caswell Co., North Carolina on June 18, 1935 to Reverend Paul and Beatrice Worrell.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband William Lehrschall and sister Lona Nell Worrell Bullard.
She is survived by her sons: Mark Noblin and wife Sherry of Mississippi and Paul Noblin of Wilmington and one granddaughter Hope Noblin of Mississippi as well as Annie Mae Wood and Jim and Linda Daughtry.
She graduated from Chowan College and obtained a masters degree in horticulture from Virginia Tech. She remained active in the church and loved singing and playing hymns on the piano.
The family will receive friends from 1-2 pm on Monday, April 15, 2024 at Coble Funeral Chapel, 1155 Shipyard Blvd, Wilmington, North Carolina. A graveside service will follow at 2:30 at Oleander Memorial Gardens, 306 Bradley Drive, Wilmington, North Carolina.
