Peggy C. Tyson, 78, of Wilmington, NC passed away on April 26, 2021 at 7:51am. She was born in Moore County, NC on November 11, 1942 to Pete and Lelia Cummins.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Charles Tyson.
Peggy was a line cook at Ocean View restaurant. She loved to be outside in her yard.
She is survived by her son Charles Tyson, granddaughter Holly Tyson, grandson CJ Tyson, daughter-in-law Lee Tyson, three brothers; Elmer Cummings, Larry Cummings, Mark Cummings, sister Norma Gilmore, lots of nieces, nephews, adopted girls Shelia Macon, Pam Lynch, and Tina Sykes.
A memorial service will be held at 2pm on Saturday May 1, 2021 at Coble Funeral & Cremation Service at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
