Having been friends since High School, we had a long friendship and loved seeing each other at Wooster High School reunions. She and I were roommates once at Steve Ellis's bed & breakfast so we could share the cost and have more time together. I miss her smile and laugh. When our class dedicated a memorial to Jeff, I remember feeling especially close to her because I had been widowed myself quite a few years by that time , and I felt a special bond with Natalie. She told me she felt that too. It was nice to share that moment in a deep and understanding way. I know she loved all her family members deeply. I will continue to treasure the memories of Natalie. Blessings to those she left behind. May your days ahead be healing and lead to a special relationship with her that sheds that pain of the first years and evolve into a more joyous remembering for you; may you rejoice in how she enriched your life. Natalie was my neighbor when living in downtown Wilmington in the 70’s. She was one of the most caring and understanding people I’ve ever known, with her quick wit and smile one always felt welcome. She was a wonderful mother to her sons Shane and Andy, and it was a joy to watch them grow up under her loving care.
Natalie was always there when needed and never judgmental. She loved life, her sons, her family, her cats, and Robert. I am so fortunate to have been a friend.

What a beautiful tribute to a wonderful person who lived life to its fullest. I had the opportunity to spend time with her a few years back when we celebrated a “ Girls Week” @ the Purple Pelican ( beach house).  Nat was a very kind, loving person who was fun to be around. RIP Natalie free of pain and suffering. 🙏🙏

Natalie was the best kind of life-long friend. From junior high through Wooster High and then her first two years at the University of Cincinnati, we shared classes, sleepovers, band, and even her college dorm room on many weekends. No matter the years that passed between our high school and college days and then much later,  high school reunions with late night talks over glasses of wine at our favorite bed and breakfast, the years just seemed to melt away.   She was always caring, thoughtful and so sensitive to others and I will miss her forever. 
I offer my sympathy to Natalie’s family and all who were blessed to call her their friend.

Natalie was my best friend. We  grew up together from kindergarten thru high school. We made some good memories as we went. Lots of overnight stays at her parents house, in the back yard. And as we got older and I could  drive , we would go to the OARDC and  try to catch “Parker’s. “Nat” ‘s dad had  to come and pull us out of the mud when we got stuck. We laughed a lot @ that. We didn’t see each other too much in high school as she was busy with band and had lots of guys after her. But she always remained my best friend and we visited each other after we had children  and continued to keep in touch. Everyone loved Natalie. I will miss her.

Nat was a long-time friend and I will miss knowing she is in NC with her cat(s), the beach, the river, her sewing machine, her contentment. I will miss the occasional hurricane update. I will miss her at reunions. I will miss knowing that when she came north to visit family she would come to Wooster to see friends and we would be able to spend old-shoe friendship time together. I will miss her.
My heart goes out to you, Robert, and to the boys. I share in your loss.

As a classmate of Natalie's in junior high and at Wooster High School, I think of the fun friend that she was and I can hear her laugh as I think if her.  She was an amazing, gifted person whom I feel privileged to have known.   Although I didn't know much about her life in the South, I treasure our years together in Ohio and now, the more recent class reunions, especially when we stayed in the same Bed and Breakfast and sat on the front porch as friends as though the time between visits had disappeared.

We will miss Natalie, one of the original members of our card club, begun way back in the 1980s. She was a good and loyal friend, a card shark who quietly whipped us all, a wonderful seamstress, a sharp business woman, among many other superlatives. We’ll miss her presence, her love of kitties and the color purple and her stories. Robert and family, you are in my thoughts and prayers. ❤️

So very sorry to hear of Natalie's passing.  I spent many an evening over the past years playing Canasta with her and the amazing group of women I call friends.  Thoughts and Prayers to her family.  We will miss her when each time we get together to play.
