Leslie A. Griffin

She was preceded in death by her mother, Margaret Griffin.

Leslie is survived by her brother Kevin Griffin and sister-in- law, Nancy Griffin of Clinton, MD. She is also survived by a host of uncles, aunts and cousins. She was particularly close to her cousins Owieta Freeman, Barbara Johnson, Gale Griffin Hall (Kently), Carlene Griffin Williams (Jimmy), Demetrick Gause and her beloved Godson, Deron Hall.

She attended St. Mary’s Catholic School and Gregory Elementary School. Upon relocating to Washington, DC she attended Rubalt Junior High School and graduated from H.D. Woodson High School. She attended the University of District of Columbia where she studied nursing.

She enjoyed music and loved to dance. She took ballet lessons as a child.

A visitation for Leslie will be held Thursday, March 18, 2021 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Coble Funeral and Cremation Service at Greenlawn Memorial Park, 1155 Shipyard Blvd, Wilmington, NC 28412. A memorial service will occur Thursday, March 18, 2021 at 11:00 AM, 1155 Shipyard Blvd, Wilmington, NC 28412.
